The ethnic communities in Upper Hutt have come together to form The Upper Hutt Multi Ethnic Councilt. Members of the ethnic communities, the Mayor of Upper Hutt, the UH Community Development Group and the New Zealand Federation of Ethnic Councils have worked over the last 8 to 9 months to set up this Ethnic Council. Saturday 31 March Upper Hutt: International Festival New Zealand International Campus, Trentham, 11am-3pm. The International Festival will serve as a showpiece for the region's cultural and ethnic diversity and will feature ethnic food stalls and performances.
